The Mission of the Union Elementary School District Transportation Department is to transport students to and from school in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. Our state legislature does not mandate bus transportation, and it is a privilege offered by the Union Elementary School District.
We transport students in kindergarten through third grade. The exception for the 2015-2016 school year is for eighth grade students who attend Dos Rios School and live south of Lower Buckeye Road. We base transportation requirements for students with disabilities on their individual education program.
The district does not provide transportation to students who attend our school in open enrollment or the parental choice plan. We do not permit non-district students or adults on our school buses without the approval of the transportation supervisor.
Should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our Transportation Services staff.
